Jacobs Engineering UK Limited acting on behalf of a Sahara Petrochemicals – Ma’aden Joint Venture Company in relation to a Project to construct a new Chlor Alkali / Ethylene Dichloride Plant planned to be built in the Industrial City of Al Jubail in Saudi Arabia request you to submit a quotation in accordance with this Request for Quotation.
Bidders are requested to submit the following information as an integral part of their Quotation:
1. Confirm that the Equipment proposed complies in all respects with the requirements of this request for quotation.
2. Provide a full technical description of the Equipment and/or Services included within your quotation that also include the following technical information as a minimum:
?/span> Carbon / Ceramic Brick Specification included within quotation.
3. Confirm that you have included within your offer for the supply of the post-order documentation that would be expected for equipment of this nature for a significant petro-chemical project.
4. Confirm that you have included for all charges associated with the Design Verification and Manufacturing Surveillance Services of a Third Party Notified Body in accordance with a mutually agreed Quality Plan (to comply with all the requirements of ASME etc.).
5. Clearly state the type (trade-name and grade), name and address of manufacturer of material on which the Quotation has been based.
6. Identify the location (Full manufacturing facility address) where the equipment is planned to be manufactured and assembled.
7. Advise the Lead times offered for the equipment/services specified (and identifying the time scale to obtain materials, time scale for fabrication, test and inspection, time scale for despatch preparation, and timescale for delivery of equipment to Site).
8. Bidders are required to detail within their Quotation the type of transport, and the route, they intend to use for delivery of Equipment. All charges associated with carriage and packing for DDP Al-Jubail Port Saudi Arabia and Freight Insurance to the value of at least 110% of the total price quoted to be included as a separate cost item within the quotation. Protective Packing shall be suitable for shipment to named destination and 12 months external storage in Saudi Arabia.
9. Bidders’ to advise the name and address of the Organisation(s) located within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who will be available to supply after sales service and support services.
10. Bidders’ to quote all prices and rates in US Dollars.
11. Bidders are required to submit completed and signed copy of the ‘Quotation Checklist’ with their Quotation.
