I have a friend/client in the U.S. who is wishing to source a Remote Interface Module (RIM) which is utilized in a multi-residential setting. This module is contained in a resident apartment and interfaces (single-pair copper) to a main microprocessor based telephone management system. This system is capable of operation with fiber to resident (i.e ONT), cable telephone (i.e. cable modem), and VOIP (i.e. gateway modem) thus the RIM. I am awaiting specifications and the details available at this time: 50-75 components, (3) RJ11 jacks mounted on a circuit board, surface mount technology, housed in a 2.5" x 5" aluminum casing.
This customer may only require a small quantity (1000 - 3000) initially but expects a need for 3 million over the next one-to-two years
