Century Inc. started in the garage of our current owner and CEO, Mike Dillard, in 1977. He began by making martial arts uniforms that were suitable for Western-type body styles. In the short 30 year history, Century has expanded its product line to include heavy bags, training equipment, sparring gear and weapons, has grown to over 650,000 square feet (60,000 square meters) and close approaching 300 employees. We are now known as Century Martial Art Supply, Inc.and we are the world’s largest martial arts supplier with thousands of products and over $60 million in annual revenue.We, in the purchasing department, are constantly searching for innovative ways to increase supply chain efficiency. Because of this mission, we are always on the lookout for new suppliers and product. Over the last several years, we have sold an average of 50,000 swords per year and anticipate great growth in this area in the years to come.
